Anyone that had to do telegraph transfer (TT) to your love one oversea can now use the new services offered by Singapore Post, you would need to bring the following
1. Your NRIC/ Work permit
2. Name & their Visa Credit, Visa Debit or Visa Prepaid Card number
Singpost would issue you a Cashome card if all is well
But why you want to use VMT, the answer is it is cheap $9 dollars compare to $15-25 cable charge bank will charge you, the second is the exchange rate, VISA international offer rate better than the established bank, third is the recipient bank charge are very much lower than normal TT or free.
Below are the list of countries that you can remit to, caution is that certain bank do not allows for such transfer (i.e. Taiwan Chunghwa Post Bank don't allow for such transfer)
